Embedded electric heating seminar

A half-day technical seminar on the safe design, installation and verification of indoor and outdoor systems.

Stuart McKelvie, Training Development Adviser will start the seminar off in the morning with a presentation which will cover Section 753 of BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 aligning along with Flexel.  

This ever-important subject of the future being electric is important that designers and installers understand the requirements in BS 7671 to embedded electric heating systems for surface heating.  It also applies to electric heating systems for de-icing, frost protection and similar applications.  Both indoor and outdoor systems are covered.  

After a short morning break for refreshments Craig Herriott, Scotland Regional Manager with UK manufacturers Flexel will discuss the link between their embedded heating systems and Section 753.

Discussion will include a detailed presentation on all of their products including electric cables, far infrared patented Ink based solutions and their selection of far infrared heaters.

Craig will discuss where best each solution should be used to maximise efficiency and how their various thermostat controls can assist with further energy savings.
